Autodesk Inventor Basics

Learn how to navigate, sketch and model in Autodesk Inventor.

You will gain a basic understanding of parametric design; file types; dimensioning; geometric constraints; patterns; adding text; inserting image files; basic modelling including extrude, revolve, loft and sweep; assemblies; exporting your file and creating laser-able and CAM-able files. The goal is to provide you with enough tools to use Inventor at a solid, basic level and to inspire you to seek out more advanced features such as simulation, mold making and sheet metal.
