Fusion 360 is Autodesk's latest product development tool for design, fabrication, and collaboration. Merging industrial and mechanical design, you will quickly explore organic shapes through intuitive free-form modelling tools, or create precise, parametric models – it's up to you! Simply put, Fusion 360 is the platform for rapidly accelerating from an idea in your head to a manufactured product in your hand.
By the end of this two-session online workshop, you will have an understanding of direct and parametric modelling, dimensioned sketches, T-spline geometry, and much more!
Using basic tools and how to navigate through the software, to orbit, use the view cube and bowser.
How to use the drawing tools, create tools such as revolve and extrude?
Creating different planes and modifying solids.
How to render.
How to develop and work with assemblies.
Using the sculpting tool.
How to export files in different format, any additional questions.
Prerequisites: A working knowledge of the Windows operating environment
Minimum age: 12
Sessions will be conducted via Zoom, pre-installation and setup of a trial version of the latest Fusion 360 or any other version is required. Participants should use a laptop and a mouse to do the workshop practical work.
