The Makerspace in Al Zeina provides an open-access, DIY workshop, prototyping lab and fabrication studio, creating a home for innovation and entrepreneurship, STEAM education and a platform for academia and industry. The space builds a vibrant, community-based space that provides members the access to tools, software and space where entrepreneurs, inventors, innovators, makers, businesses, teachers and students can come together to learn and work.
The space provides access to professional equipment and software and a wide variety of machinery and tools including milling machines, lathes, MIG and TIG welding stations, sheet metal working equipment, drill presses, band saws, industrial sewing machines, hand tools, wood working equipment including a wood CNC router, electronics design, testing and fabrication equipment, vacuum forming, CO2 laser cutters, powder coating equipment, 3D printers (FDM), silk screening and vinyl cutting and the design software needed to run it all. Pretty much everything you'd ever need, to make just about anything.

The Makerspace's Education Manager plays a critical role in making Makerspace Al Zeina's facility work like clockwork. This person manages where, when and how our members and non-members alike engage with and benefit from our wide range of educational offerings, including safety training, classes, workshops, and much more for adult as well as young learners. As an Education Manager you’ll schedule all educational offerings for the public, co-ordinate trainers and instructors, as well as exclusive schedules for schools and personal requests. You will also develop new ideas for our educational curriculum. We can’t wait to hear the brightest ideas you bring to the table, to share your passion for learning!
